Terms and Shipping Costs

We endeavour to make our prices and shipping rates as low as possible together with no minimum order quantities (except for undyed yarns - 5kg total) so that retailers and dyers do not have to hold excess stock. Details are outlined below but if you have any further questions please get in touch.

Prices

We wholesale Undyed Yarns, Rooster Yarn, Manos Del Uruguay and Addi needles to retailers, hand dyers and other businesses. We do not sell directly to the public but you can buy our products from one of our wonderful stockists - see stockist page for each brand.

If you would like wholesale prices for any of our products, please do not hesitate to email us here. Don't forget to tell us which of our yarns or needles you would like prices for!

Opening an Account and Ordering 

We try and make this as easy as possible. Orders can be placed by phone or email - we just need to know the product and quantity you want to order. To open an account, please include the following information with your first order:

- Contact name

- Delivery postal address

- Billing address (if different)

- Telephone number

- Email address

- VAT number (if applicable)

Samples and Shade Cards

We are happy to send free shade cards and samples of particular products of interest.

 

For our undyed yarns, this allows customers to test dye and knit new yarns before placing an order. Undyed yarn samples are approx. 20g.

 

If you would like a sample or shade card, please email us here - don't forget to tell us which yarns or needles you would like samples of and include your postal address!

Minimum Order Quantities

For Rooster Yarns, Addi Needles and Manos Del Uruguay - there is no minimum order quantity. Pack sizes vary according to the yarn range or needle. All pack sizes are shown on the price list.

NB: For Manos Del Uruguay yarns only - these are now available by the skein (eg: you can buy 1 skein of 1 colour) 

For undyed yarns - the minimum total order quantity is 5kg. This can be make up of 1kg of a number of yarns.

Shipping Charges

Shipping rates vary according to destination and order value. In the UK parcels are sent either by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or next day courier. Shipping to all other destinations is by courier.

UK - Shipping is £5 for orders below £300 excl VAT. For orders over £300 excl VAT shipping is free

Mainland Europe - Shipping is EUR 17 / GBP£15 per order

USA - Shipping is 5kg - $35, 5-10kg - $40, 10-15kg - $45, 15-20kg - $50, above 20kg - quoted on order  

Other Locations - Shipping is quoted upfront for each order depending on weight / volume.

Payment Terms

UK Customers - Payment for the 1st order is prior to dispatch. 30 day credit terms can be agreed on a customer by customer basis for subsequent orders

Non UK Customers - Payment is prior to dispatch for all orders.

Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit/debit card or Paypal. For customers paying by bank transfer, the customer is to pay their own bank's charges. Any charges incurred by our bank will be covered by Rooster Yarns.

 

Please note all invoices must be paid in the currency stated on the invoice. We can not accept paymennts if they are converted into a different currency. 

Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

You have the right to cancel any goods ordered, from the point at which they are ordered, up until the point at when they are dispatched and a full refund will be given. 

If goods have been dispatched, you may return unwanted items in re-saleable condition within 7 days of receipt and a refund will be provided. 

To cancel your order please get in touch; you can call 01829 740903 (Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm) or send us a message.

As soon we have received and checked that your goods are in resalable condition we will issue you a refund and send you a confirmation via email.

Faulty, defective or wrongly delivered goods will be fully refunded or replaced (whichever you prefer), including the original and return postage costs. This is only if the fault is not due to misuse, use against the manufacturer's recommendations or reasonable wear and tear.
